App-Techs Visits Milestone Systems Headquarters in Denmark

App-Techs President Dan Fritsch recently traveled to Milestone Systems global headquarters in Brøndby, Denmark and received recognition as a Milestone Developer Champion.

Developer champions are recognized by Milestone as "advocates and leaders who advance practical knowledge and drive innovation in the field".

This recognition is due in part to App-Tech's development of third-party integration tools for Milestone XProtect, which include Bridge-to-XProtect (BTX) and Health Utility Monitor (HUM).

For its part, the Milestone business model actively encourages and builds relationships with developers like App-Techs. The XProtect open architecture encourages the innovative use of the Milestone SDK, API, and associated products. By encouraging partnerships and product improvement, Milestone empowers companies like App-Techs to integrate outside systems with XProtect and develop custom tools and features that improve the overall end-client experience.

App-Techs looks forward to continuing its ongoing partnership with XProtect. Recent projects include Smart Client Plug-ins that dynamically change the on-screen camera views when alarms of interest occur, along with accompanying text-to-speech audio announcments. App-Techs is also working with several video analytics companies to bring novel video detections into the Milestone environment.
