Computers and networks require continuous and consistent maintenance to prevent problems before they occur. That is why App-Techs offers a Maintenance Plans to suit your needs.
All of our Maintenance Agreements provide the following:
Extended Warranty is simply a guarantee that if a piece of hardware fails during the warranty period, then the hardware will be repaired or replaced. The warranty does not cover any additional work such as installing software, configuring applications, configuring network settings or restoring data. This warranty also does not include labor associated with repairing or replacing failed components. All Computers purchased from App-Techs have the option of an Extended Warranty, just consult your App-Techs Sales representative.
This is similar to the Extended Warranty but also covers labor associated with specified repair or replacement. All Computers purchased from App-Techs have the option of an Extended Warranty - Plus, just consult your App-Techs Sales representative.
The App-Technician is an installed application that enables us to provide extremely affordable and fast service to our clients. With the App-Technician, clients simply call App-Techs and then open the application. Immediately an App-Techs technician will be securely connected to your computer. Once connected, our technicians will be able to help answer a question, fix the problem or provide guidelines for further service.
The Remote Monitoring Service is designed to keep your computers / servers operating at peak performance and to pinpoint potential problems before they become disasters. The Remote Monitoring Service allows small businesses to eliminate the need for a dedicated IT staff and allows larger businesses to better utilize their internal staff for more strategic issues. This agreement does not cover the parts or labor associated with computer / server problems. To cover these types of losses, combine this agreement with one or more of the other agreements.
The Pre-pay Maintenance Agreement is a 1-year (or more) agreement in which a customer purchases an amount of engineer's time in advance. To keep your system running optimally, we generally pre-arrange monthly or quarterly maintenance visits. During this visit we can assist with diagnosing and resolving day-to-day problems and also carry out certain essential checks such as reading error logs or making sure your backups are working correctly. If there is a problem between these pre-arranged visits, simply call for our in-house, on-Site, telephone or remote support services. Time spent on these service calls is simply taken off the pre-paid amount.
The Flexible Maintenance operates similar to our Pre Pay Maintenance Agreement in that it offers our In-house, On-Site, Telephone or Remote support services; however it is a shorter and less complicated contract.
With the Flexible Maintenance Agreement, payment is via a low fixed monthly retainer. This allows clients to pre-pay a number of billable hours per month in exchange for a sharply discounted rate. This retainer fee is paid at the beginning of each month, before work for the month begins. Client-approved hours worked that are above the hours retained each month are still billed at the lower retainer rate. The invoices are mailed at the end of the month, and payment is due to be paid by the 15th of the next month. Retainer agreements may be canceled by either party on 60 days.
